Bridging Financial Clarity & Energetic Healing

How Reiki Supports My Work as a Divorce Coach and CDFA

Divorce isn’t just a legal or financial event — it’s a soul-level rupture.
It shakes the nervous system, rewrites your identity, and brings your deepest wounds to the surface — often all at once. As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) and a Somatic Certified Divorce Coach, I’ve spent years helping women navigate the numbers, the logistics, and the legalities of uncoupling. But there’s something deeper I’ve always known: healing has to happen on all levels — body, mind, and energy.

That’s why I began integrating Reiki into my work.

What Is Reiki?

At its core, Reiki is a gentle, hands-on (or hands-above) energy healing modality that facilitates emotional and energetic balance. The word "Reiki" means “universal life force energy.” It supports the body’s natural ability to heal by clearing blockages, soothing the nervous system, and restoring energetic alignment.

In sessions, Reiki can feel like warmth, tingling, or deep calm. But beyond the sensations, it helps clients feel safe in their own bodies again — which is foundational during and after divorce.

Why Reiki Belongs in the Divorce Process

Divorce often brings up more than spreadsheets and court filings. It reactivates childhood attachment wounds, abandonment fears, and trauma imprints that live beneath the surface. These emotional patterns can derail even the most well-thought-out legal or financial plan if they go unacknowledged.

This is where Reiki becomes a powerful tool.

  • In moments of emotional overload, Reiki calms the heart and clears anxiety

  • When clients feel frozen or stuck, it helps unfreeze decision-making pathways

  • When grief or guilt rise unexpectedly, Reiki offers a safe container for release

Whether you're facing a mediation session, overwhelmed by financial paperwork, or lying awake wondering who you are now — Reiki meets you right there, with tenderness and grounding.

Energy Meets Strategy: My Integrated Approach

My work has always bridged the spiritual with the structural.

I help my clients analyze assets, uncover hidden finances, and create post-divorce financial plans that make sense — but I also help them track where fear lives in the body, notice what stories they’re carrying in their heart, and recalibrate their energy so they’re not just surviving, but actually reclaiming power.

Reiki is now something I offer in both standalone sessions and as part of my coaching and CDFA packages. It’s not a requirement — it’s an invitation. One that allows you to bring your whole self into the process, not just the part that’s checking off court deadlines.

You Are Not Broken: You Are Becoming

Divorce can feel like an unraveling. But with the right support, emotionally, financially, energetically, it becomes a reweaving.
Reiki doesn’t “fix” you. It helps you come back home to yourself.
And from that place, we can create clarity, build stability, and write a new chapter.
